Honey almond chocolates
Honey almond chocolates:
Who doesn't love chocolates? Yes everyone do!!
Whenever there is any festive occasion, all from children's to adults run over the market to buy some tasty chocolates. Why search for festivals , children gulp down chocolates every alternate day.
So I thought, why not try them at home? There started my research surfing on net. I saw many videos showing melted chocolates poured in moulds, kept in refrigerator, then de-moulded into nicely desired shapes. So I thought of doing slight twist by using some honey and almond powder and preparing a new innovative my stlye honey almond chocolates.
Let's look into the recipe.
Ingredients:
Milk chocolate bar-100gm
Dark chocolate bar-100gm
Powdered almonds-1 cup
Honey-2-4 tsp
Chocolate moulds-1
Water for double boiling.
Method:
Take milk chocolate and dark chocolate and cut them into fine pieces.
( Here I have taken small quantity just for a trial)
Keep water in a bowl for boiling. Keep utensil with chocolate pieces on top of this bowl. This method is called double boiling. Keep stirring the chocolate pieces, they will get melted soon in 2-3 minutes. Then cool it to room temperature.
Make a mixture of powdered almonds and put honey into it.
Put this mixture into melted chocolate and mix well.
Take the clean chocolate moulds and pour the above chocolate mixture in the moulds. After filling all depressions in the moulds, just tap the mould twice on the table to remove air bubble.
Keep the mould in the freezer for 5 minutes.
Then keep the same down in the fridge for 10-15 minutes ( not in the freezer now).
Touch your chocolates with fingers, remove them out and de-mould.
Serve with bliss of honey and almonds on top as presented or wrap them in your favorite chocolate wrappers and store for future use.
In my next post, I shall show preparation of plain chocolates and nutty chocolates in larger quantities.
