Forgotten recipes of Goa contest: my dish was-' Moogagati ani purio'.

My 4th contest was ' Forgotten recipes of Goa' contest held on a Facebook group. The competition focussed on olden recipes of Goa which our great grand ancestors prepared and which are mostly forgotten by the new generations. First the competition was held online on the group

 We could post many number of forgotten dishes wherein I posted many dishes, few of them I have shown in my below screenshots.

Among all contestants who participated in this contest, the first 15 contestants were selected for the final cook off live competition. My zhadekangachi bhaji was selected among all dishes posted and made me the part of final cook off competition.

We had to enter into the final live cooking contest held at the famous O'Coquerro restaurant at Porvorim.

We could choose any of the forgotten recipe of Goa to be presented for the final contest. I chose to prepare 'Moogagati ani purio'. I gave my 100% to the contest in my dish, presentation etc as shown below.

The competition was organized in a beautiful manner and our judges for the competition were famous food enthusiasts " Amita Salatry", a food entrepreneur " Mrs. Shobha Kamat" and Popular Chef " Avinash Martins". The judging process was also systematically done and winners were declared.

I received consolation prize with a certificate and a gift voucher worth rupees 1000/- sponsoring dinner at Tao restaurant at Panjim.

I had a wonderful experience at the contest and I was glad to be a part of this competition.

Then I availed the benefit of Meal voucher at Tao Restaurant at Panjim. It was a beautiful time spent there.
