Cashewnut chocolates

Cashewnut chocolates :

Hello my dear friends!!
Festivals and chocolates have a strong relation with each other. Rather I can say both depend on each other. There is no festival celebrated without chocolates and we wait for festivals to come to prepare some homemade chocolates. Yes, I am here talking about homemade chocolates. Its very satisfactory and soothing to our ears when we are offered with homemade chocolates. People from our family, friends, locality etc have great curiosity of asking how did you prepare it!! I had this experience when I had prepared my first chocolates for my sons birthday and my in laws were very much happy and satisfied to gulp them down to a number more then what they usually have upon the market bought ones. So today I thought I would share with you these cashewnut chocolates. They are very simple and quick to be made in couple of time. Plain chocolate preparation is often shown on net, however I have added some cashewnut powder to increase their flavour.

So let's look how I have made them. In my last post I had posted my honey almond chocolates, wherein I had used almond powder and honey, those were prepared in small quantities. This time I tried making in bulk quantities. Have a look !!

Ingredients:
Dark chocolate bar-200 gm
Milk chocolate bar-200 gm
Cashewnuts-100 gm
Moulds of your choice
Aluminium foil for wrapping the chocolates
Water as required

Method:

Make a rough powder of cashewnuts.

Make small small pieces of your chocolate bars in a container( mix both dark and milk chocolate).

In a vessel boil water. Keep this chocolate container on top of this vessel and keep stirring till chocolate gets melted evenly. Stir continuously till you get a mixture without lumps.

Cool the melted chocolate till room temperature. Mix powdered cashewnuts into the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.

Keep the moulds ready, cleaned previously.

Take a spoon and put melted chocolate mixed with cashewnut powder in each mould.

When all moulds are filled, tap the moulds 2-3 times on table to remove air bubbles.

Keep this mould tray in the freezer for 5 to 10 mins. Remove out and see the chocolates have been done very well.

Then turn upside down and you will get your demoulded chocolates falling easily off the moulds.

Serve immediately with cashewnuts decorated or wrap them in aluminium foil and keep them in a air tight container in the refrigerator for future eating purpose.

This way you can make chocolates in bulk quantities and keep in refrigerator well in advance of any occasion or festivals and serve on the required day.

Chocolate bars are available in specific chocolate shops in the market. You need to do a slight research on their availability in the market you reside. They look this way!!

Here I have made chocolates with milk and dark chocolate, however you can also bring white chocolate bar which has milkybar chocolate flavour.

I had prepared once by making a layer of milk and white chocolate, however do not have image to post as they were made in a hurry at this years Diwali and capturing its photo wasn't possible. So will update this blog post nextime when I again prepare them.

Till then yourl can enjoy these cashewnut chocolates.!!
