Mysore appams

Mysore appams ( Mysore bhaje in a appam patra):


The above mentioned recipe is similar to my previously posted Mysore bhaje recipe. The ingredients and the batter remains the same.

Mysore bhaje

The only difference here is I have made appams out of the batter and so named them as Mysore appams. In this way, you can enjoy the taste of Mysore bhaje with less oil avoiding the deep frying method used for Mysore bhaje.

After trying Mysore bhaje, there was some batter left out in refrigerator. So I thought of trying them in a appam patra to avoid too much of oil consumed by them via deep frying method and I was successful to prepare lovely Mysore appams.

I served them with tomato sauce.
