Kadai paneer
Kadai paneer :
One of the most tastiest recipes of paneer and most demanding dish across various restaurants.
Today I tried making the recipe in my kitchen but with twist of my own masalas and it turned out super awesome.
Let me take you to the recipe.
Ingredients and method
Heat a pan and saute 1 medium long slitted onion, 2-3 cloves, 1 cinnamon, 1 tsp jeera, 1 tsp peppercorns, 2 green chillies. Saute well till onion turns translucent. Then add 1 finely chopped tomato. Let the tomato cook well. Add 1 inch ginger, 4-5 garlic cloves. Saute well. Add garam masala. Cool.
Grind it with blanched palak leaves 2, coriander leaves (1 fistful) with little water to form paste.
In another pan shallow fry paneer and capsicum pieces in required oil and keep aside.
Last the final step.
In a kadai or a pan (I used the same pan in which I previously shallow fried paneer and capsicum pieces), add 2 tsp oil and saute the above grinded paste nicely till aroma. Add 2 tsp each of kashmiri red chilli powder, haldi powder, jeera powder, saute. Add 1 tsp of garam masala or kitchen king masala, saute well. Add 2 tsp curd. Mix well. Add salt as per taste, then just sprinkle 1 tsp sugar. Saute well. Add 1 cup of water. Let it boil. Add shallow fried capsicum and paneer pieces and let it cook. At last add 1 tsp ghee, give a quick stir and off the flame. You are done with your kadai paneer.
Serve with roti/naan/paratha.
