Mumbai style paubhaji
Mumbai style pau bhaji:
Mumbai pau bhaji is one of the famous dish on the local streets of Mumbai and people just ounce on the same to satisfy their hunger craves and also their dancing taste buds.
Now a days all restaurants have followed the Mumbai style and served their customers with this mouth watering dish which each and every citizen enjoy a lot!!
Here in my kitchen I have also tried to prepare this excellent dish with my way ( a twisted recipe) whose short and sweet recipe is given below...
Ingredients:
Carrot -2
Potatoes-3
Capsicum-1
Green chillies-2
Cauliflower- 7-8 florets
Red chilli powder-2 tsp
pau bhaji masala-2-3 tsp
Onions-1
Tomatoes-2
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Butter-3-4 tsp
Lemon -1
Salt as per taste

Method:
First peel potatoes. Then pressure cook them along with carrot,green peas, cauliflower, capsicum for 3-4 whistles. Let it cool. Then open the cooker and mash everything with a masher till even. Now in a vessel add oil and butter, chopped onions, saute and then add chopped tomatoes, red chilli powder, pau bhaji masala, mashed veges from cooker, handful of water, salt sugar.mix nicely and let it cook. Add dash of 1/2 lemon juice and butter and decorate with coriander leaves.
For pau, make half, put a spoonful of prepared pau bhaji on both sides and roast slightly on butter on hot tawa on both sides.
Serve with chopped onions, lemon wedges and again dash of butter.
