Cabbage wadi

Cabbage wadi:

 
Cabbage is a widely found vegetable all over India. Cabbage preparations are most of the time not loved by many as its vegetable doesn't seem that tasty. So here I have innovated a new dish which is prepared similar to kothimbir wadi along the Maharashtra side making this dish a part of goan veg recipes category.

Ingredients:
Finely chopped cabbage-1 medium sized
Chopped onions-2 medium
Chopped green chillies-2 medium
Chopped ginger-1 tsp
Chopped garlic-1 tsp
Besan -1 cup
Rice flour-1 cup
Corn flour-2 tsp
Sugar-1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Haldi powder-1 tsp
Red chilli powder-2 tsp
Garam masala-1 tsp

Method:
Mix all the ingredients as mentioned above nicely without water and place it in a oil greased steel container and steam for 15-20 mins. Cool and rest it for another 20 mins and then cut into desired shapes of wadis and shallow fry on tawa.

Serve with rice.
