Haveri mirchichi stuffed bhaji

Haveri mirchichi stuffed bhaji- haveri chillies stuffed pakoras-a twisted recipe:

Haveri mirchi or haveri chillies are the most spicy chillies grown in the haveri village of Karnataka. These chillies are brought in Goa and are the most expensive chillies in Goan markets. These chillies are smallest in size, very thin , medium long , darkest green in appearance. Those who have a spicy tooth should go for it. Just 1 chilly is enough to give the spiciest taste to medium chilly lovers.

My husband loves green chillies a lot, he loves as much as spicy food with green chillies (not the red ones😁), so he gets loads of these kind of Haveri green chillies at home.

So I thought of making some bhajis/pakoras out of them to combine it with taste of some stuffing to get a twisted recipe😁

Ingredients:
Haveri mirchi-10
Salt as per taste
For stuffing-
Mashed paneer-1 small cup
Jeera powder-1 tsp
Chat masala-1 tsp
Amchur powder-1 tsp
Oil for frying
Besan-1 cup
Baking soda-1 tsp
Water as required to prepare batter.

Method:
First wash the chillies, make a long cut in between and apply salt and keep for marination for 2-3 hrs.
Mix together the stuffing ingredients with little salt.
Remove the marinated green chillies and stuff each green chilly with the stuffing as shown in my picture below-

Prepare a pakora batter by adding besan, salt and water. Dip each stuffed mirchi in the batter and deep fry.

Serve with goan rice and dal.

Note: Even if you prepare the mirchis this way, the spicyness don't get reduced that much, so spicy allergic people please stay away but yes those who love spicy food would enjoy my pakoras.
