Talille bhene- shallow fried lady fingers:



Lady fingers or bhendi or bhene tastes damn good when shallow fried or dip fried. They are very simple to prepare and yet delicious. I have given a slight twist in the masalas to come up with a different taste to the ladyfingers.

Ingredients:
Ladyfingers or bhene-10-15
Haldi-1 tsp
Red chilli powder-2 tsp
Chat masala-1 tsp
Amchur powder-1 tsp
Jeera powder-1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Rawa/rice flour/corn four mixture-1 plate
Oil for frying

Method:
First wash the ladyfingers and then wipe them with a cloth. Cut elongated into two pieces. Mix haldi, red chilli powder, salt, amchur powder, jeera powder and chat masala. Sprinkle this mixed powder over ladyfingers and apply evenly all over.

In rawa/rice flour/corn flour mixture put all marinated ladyfinger pieces and mix nicely till rawa/rice flour/corn flour coats each piece and then shallow fry them on tawa with required oil.
