Mushroom capsicum spring roll

Mushroom capsicum spring roll:

Spring rolls are the favorite snack of kids as well as adults. Kids often make fussy faces when told to eat any spicy food, so here I have modified or rather twisted the original spring roll recipe to make it slightly sweet, without any spicy ingredient and delicious for our cutees to enjoy in their tiffin boxes without that su...ha..su..ha irritating sound while eating!!😁😁😁

Let's look at my recipe- its very simple and quick.

Ingredients:
For filling/stuffing-
Mushrooms-4-5
Capsicum-1 small sized
Onion-1
Butter-1 tsp
Oil-1 tsp for filling and as required for deep frying
Salt as per taste
Sugar- a pinch
Veg Mayonese-1 tsp

For dough-
Maida-1 cup
Milk-2 tsp
Salt as required
Water as required

Method:

Knead a dough using dough ingredients.

In a pan add butter and oil, add chopped onions, finely chopped mushrooms and capsicums. Saute well. Cover and let it cook. Check in between. Add salt and sugar and mix well. Cover and cook. Once mushrooms and capsicums are soft you are done. Remove in bowl and add mayonese and mix well.

Now roll out a chapati out of the dough. Keep filling in center.

Now roll to make a spring roll. Here I have made a shape of an chocolate to make my fussy child more happy😁

Then deep fry these rolls in oil.

Serve with tomato sauce.
