Appam Manchurian

Appam Manchurian:



Manchurian is basically a Chinese dish prepared of cauliflower, mushrooms or chicken. However today I have slightly twisted the recipe and tried some new innovative dish from appams. This dish contains the tossing masala of Manchurian, however the deep frying of veggies or chicken is skipped and replaced with appams made in appe patra with a single drop of oil.

You can prepare appams out of any flour and veggies. Here I will show you an instant appam recipe to prepare appams and then use them in your final dish- appam manchurian.

Ingredients:
Appams-10 to 15
Chopped onions-2
Chopped spring onions-2
Chopped capsicum-1
Boiled sweet corn kernels-2-3 tsp
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Soya sauce-2 tsp
Red chilli sauce-2 tsp
Green chilli sauce-2 tsp
Tomato sauce-2 tsp
Sugar-1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil- 2 tsp

Method:
In a pan add oil and saute chopped onions. Then add chopped capsicum, ginger garlic paste. Saute well.
Add boiled sweetcorn kernels, soya sauce, red chilli sauce, green chilli sauce, tomato sauce, sugar, salt. Mix well.
Add appams and spring onions and mix well till appams are well coated with all sauces.
Serve hot!!
