Wheat flour carrot dosas

Wheat flour carrot dosas:

One of the quick dosas which can be easily prepared during the morning qores is the wheat flour dosas. No tension of soaking, grinding and fermenting. Just take the wheat flour, water and make batter and do it just S easy as you can.

To make it more tasty and healthy I thought of adding grated carrot in the batter. You may add grated beetroot also. These dosas can also be prepared for your dinner instead of any paratas as their batter can be quickly made and you can relish them with any kind of gravy.

So lets see the recipe quickly.

Ingredients and method:

Take 2 cup of wheat flour and add 1 grated carrot of medium size. Add required water and mix well to make a dosa batter stirring constantly. Then add required salt. Mix well and keep aside for 10 mins.

Heat a tawa, pour 2-3 drops of oil and spread with the spatula or tissue. This step actually allows oil to penetrate through each and every part of your tawa which prevents your dosa from sticking to your tawa. Or you can prefer a non stick tawa. Then add a paddle full of batter and spread like a dosa. Pour drops of oil on sides and cover. After 1 min, flip over and make your dosa crisp on both sides.

Serve hot dosas with chutney or with a sprinkle of sugar on top.
